International Train Schedules

If you have a number of destinations, you might consider purchasing a rail pass that allows you the flexibility of embarking and disembarking at an unlimited number of rail stations during a given period of time. Passes usually have to be purchased from an authorized agent prior to arrival. Train passes can be purchased for durations of 15 days to 3 months. Travel usually must commence no later than 6 months from the date of issue. If you are boarding a high speed or overnight train, a reservation is usually required. In general local trains do not require reservations. Seat reservations and sleeping berth reservations are separate and reqiure additional fees.
